What it is

What is a cardiometabolic risk assessment?

"Cardiometabolic" covers the heart, blood vessels and metabolism. Problems here, such as high blood pressure, prediabetes and high cholesterol, are the main drivers of heart attack, stroke and type 2 diabetes, and they usually cause no symptoms for years.

The FanCare assessment brings all of these together with your sleep, stress, activity, food and family history, because they affect each other. You leave knowing your numbers, what is driving them and what to do next.

Blood pressure
Measured properly, in clinic.
Blood sugar
Including prediabetes.
Cholesterol
And other blood fats.
Daily habits
Sleep, activity, food and stress.

Your personal care bundle

Integrated care usually needs lab tests, but never a generic package. Your care bundle is built around your own risk, symptoms and needs, and is decided together by you and your doctor. Every test is intentional, chosen for a specific reason, and you agree the bundle and its cost before you proceed.

For current bundle prices, ask our reception team when you call to book on +971 4 383 8333 or message us on WhatsApp.

Insurance: we work on a reimbursement basis and do not offer direct billing, but we are fully equipped to help you make the most of your insurance benefits.

Questions

Before you book

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with the clinic.

Is this right for me if I feel well?

Yes. Raised blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol rarely cause symptoms, so the assessment is designed for people who feel fine but want to know where they stand.

What if I already have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol?

You are welcome. FanCare provides ongoing GP management of hypertension, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and weight, including medication where appropriate, with specialist referral when needed.

How much does the assessment cost?

The first GP consultation is AED 420. Any tests are then planned as a personal care bundle based on your risk, symptoms and needs. You and your doctor decide it together, every test has a specific purpose, and you agree the cost before you proceed. Ask reception for current bundle prices.

Do I need to fast before my blood tests?

Not always. Your GP will tell you whether fasting is needed for the tests chosen for you.

What should I bring?

A list of any medicines or supplements you take, any recent test results or health records, and your Emirates ID or passport.

What if something needs a specialist?

We explain what we have found and why a specialist would help, arrange the referral with you, and bring the specialist's recommendations back into your ongoing plan.
