Dr Farida Fanda, female GP in Dubai Healthcare City
DHA-licensed General Practitioner with more than seven years of clinical experience in the UAE, and founder of FanCare Clinic. At FanCare you see the same doctor at every visit, so the person explaining your results is the person who heard your story.
Prevention, done properly and personally
Dr Farida Fanda is a DHA-licensed General Practitioner who has worked in UAE healthcare since 2018. Her clinical focus is preventive and primary care: cardiometabolic risk assessment and management, chronic disease management, lifestyle-integrated care, women's metabolic health including PMOS (formerly PCOS), and mental health in primary care.
Before founding FanCare Clinic, she worked as a GP and Medical Director across DHA-regulated school clinics in Dubai, caring for children and adults, managing long-term conditions, supporting mental health and leading preventive health and education programmes. She has set up several new clinics from scratch, from clinical workflows and protocols to regulatory compliance, which shapes how carefully FanCare is run.
She also holds a Master's in Healthcare Management and Economics, and brings that systems view to her practice: care that is joined up, well organised and easy to navigate. In her words, healthcare that connects the dots.
Most of the patients I worry about are the ones who feel fine. Finding risk early is the kindest thing medicine can do.
