Paediatric wellness screening: a child health check-up in Dubai
A calm, unhurried check of how your child is growing and developing, with time for your questions. Because children's habits and family health history shape their health for years to come, we look at the whole picture, just as we do for adults.
What the screening covers
A GP led wellness check, adapted to your child's age.
- Health history, including family history
- Growth: height, weight and BMI for age
- General examination, including blood pressure where appropriate
- Development and wellbeing, at home and at school
- Sleep, activity, screen time and eating habits
- Vaccination status review
What happens at the appointment
A parent or guardian attends with the child. Your GP talks with you both, examines your child and goes through any concerns you have. Blood tests are only suggested when there is a clear reason, and are always agreed with you first.
What you leave with
A clear picture of how your child is doing, practical advice for the family, and a plan for any follow-up. If your child needs a paediatrician or another specialist, we explain why and arrange the referral.
Fee
A paediatric wellness screening is AED 360. Any tests are agreed with you before they go ahead. We work on a reimbursement basis for insurance and can help you make the most of your benefits.
Healthy habits start at home
Habits that last
Sleep, activity and eating patterns set in childhood often carry into adult life. Small changes now are easier than big ones later.
Family health history
If heart disease, diabetes or high cholesterol run in the family, we take that into account for your child too.
One doctor for the family
The same GP can care for parents and children, connecting the dots across the whole family.
